designing.

I tried to get fancy this week. I bought a new shower curtain. A cloth shower curtain. The first that I've ever purchased. I showed Clin the package - he didn't seem to have an opinion, so I hung it up.

The first comment toward the curtain? "It's dark."

And then he noticed the birds. But they are few and far between. And they're blue. Who can say no to blue birds? I couldn't.

The comments progressed into intonations of grandmotherly design.

So I took it down and bought this one.

Admit it - you miss the blue birds. Don't you.

Bring back the birds! Clin is just boring and doesn't appreciate them...

I love the birds! And brown and blue are so in right now.

jackie, when i first glanced at the bird shower curtain i thought, "gosh that's cute, i wish i was smart and eclectic enough to pick that out." you have to put it back for sure! here's a compromise: put them both up: the see-through one on the inside and the bird one on the outside: everyone's happy!

In my own defense, when the infamous blue bird design was hung up, it was as if every 80 year old woman from the 60's came back and designed our bathroom. I didn't want their ghosts (or the shifty-looking bluebirds) watching me nude in the shower.
