voting.

I voted. One girl in arms, and one clinging to my leg, but I voted. It took all my strength to focus on 3 things: the touch screen, keeping Ellis from head diving to the floor, and keeping Millie away from the plugs.

Question: Do you vote in actual booths?

I did not. I think containing the children would have been easier in a booth. But I really want to know. I seem to remember my parentals always going into an actual booth to vote.

i guess it depends on your polling place, but i always assumed they used booths everywhere--that's how we did it at sweetbriar, remember?

and that's how most of my polling places have done it. i missed it this year by voting absentee, but it's a trade-off.

you're a courageous woman to go with the girls. millie will probably remember you taking her to vote.

I hope Millie remembers. I let her wear the "I voted" sticker. I have memories of Sweetbriar voting with mom. And the booths. I have never had a booth voting in UT. And I always feel so strange. Like everyone can copy my paper.

no booths---I did early voting.....all electronic....I was out and in in 5 minutes! Woo Hoo! Question, Wouldn't you want someone to copy your paper?

I sat at a table in an elementary school cafeteria...so that everyone could copy my paper.

Good points. Copying is okay here. It's just the ingrained instruction that it's wrong that makes me feel strange.
